It’s reported that the transaction prices of hot rolled and cold rolled steel products have decreased by around NT$100/ton in the Taiwanese market recently.
The transaction prices of hot rolled steel products have dropped to NT$18,300/ton and those of cold rolled steel products have fallen to NT$20,500/ton.
Industry sources said that the steel prices have dropped in the whole Asian market even though steel prices have rose slightly in the Chinese market recently.
Last week, the transaction prices of hot rolled steel products were at NT$18,500~NT$18,300/ton in the Taiwanese market.
