New version of the award winning family tablet is powered by Windows and Intel.
Kurio has partnered with Windows to create the Kurio Smart tablet.
Kurio Smart is a two-in-one tablet, with detachable keyboard, meaning it can be used for everything from homework to play.
The Microsoft Windows operating system and 32GB of internal memory are complimented by programmes such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint and more, allowing children to do all of their school tasks with ease.
The device also features games and apps preloaded, including Minion Rush, Sonic Dash along with 18 games to get all of the family up and moving, including Wingsuit, Mountain Bike and Dance.
The tablet also boasts Windows Family Safety parental controls, which feature internet filtering, time management and app management.
The tablet offers an HDMI port to link it to a TV, Bluetooth and wi-fi connectivity, an 8.9 inch IPS capacitive screen, and an Intel Atom processor Z3735G. There is also a micro SDHC card to add up to 32GB extra memory.
“Smart is perfect for all aspects of modern children’s lives and has impressive hardware and software to ensure that it keeps up with the ever increasing pace of life," said Kyna Covington, marketing manager, KD UK.
"The tablet will effortlessly take children from homework to play in a safe, but fun environment.”
