Model horse specialist secures 100 per cent of funding with five days to go.

Model horse specialist Utterly Horses has successfully reached its Kickstarter target - well ahead of its original January 5th deadline.

The firm was aiming to raise £25,000 to help fund production of the Copperfox range of British breeds.

There will be seven models in the first collection, with each one being a different coour and based on one of three moulds. Each model is based on and inspired by real horses and equine personalities in the British Isles, none of which have been available in model form before.

The Copperfox models will retail at the same price as models of the same scale currently available on the market (approx £32-£44). Each will also come in a presentation box that will fold out to create a stable for the horse.

Utterly Horses was started by Becky Benfield when she was just 16 years old.
