We are now just a week away from the opening of the Reifen 2014 show and still updates from the exhibitors keep on coming through.
Top news comes from the show organizers, who state that some of the world's leading tire manufacturers will attend the Innovation Awards Ceremony the evening before the show. Whilst Cam International will be launching its new "open access" mobile data platform for digital tablet technology in the truck, bus and van market sectors, Sun Tyre & Wheel Systems will introduce their new Numa Prime solid resilient tire, which combats extremely severe industrial and OTR applications.
ATEO GmbH will announce the arrival of the VT56 fully updateable, universal tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) tool, which can be used in conjunction with the OBD II connector to transfer data to a vehicle in order to reset the ECU when replacing a sensor or wheel position. Meanwhile, Chinese tire manufacturer Winrun Tyre will be making their debut at the show and introducing two new brands, the Winrun and Roadclaw.
Finally, Singapore-based Stamford Tyres will present their further extended range of Sumo Firenza tires alongside alloy wheels from Stamford Sport Wheels (SSW) and Soleil. Looking at the exhibitor list, this show promises to be a very eventful occasion -- where new products and innovations will be in excess.
