Germany-based Bosch Packaging Technology will showcase its latest technologies for packaging bars and baked items in its maiden appearance at IBA 2015, in Munich, in September.
The company's Pack 301 LS (Length Slug) mid-range automation system for flow wrapping of biscuits will be launched at the show.
The machine has a modular design for flexible layout and speed control of automation.
Bosch Packaging Technology president Friedbert Klefenz said: "With more than 90 years of experience supporting the confectionery industry and over 50 years in the biscuit market, we have a deep understanding of the market requirements and unique needs of manufacturers.
"Key trends include the demand for increasingly flexible processing and packaging technology and comprehensive modular solutions. IBA is the perfect platform for us to launch the Pack 301 LS, our latest development for the packaging of biscuits."
Bosch will also display its Two-in-One biscuit packaging system, which is capable of switching from slug to pile packs and vice versa in around three minutes. It can also execute pile packs of up to five biscuits, with a maximum height of 50 millimeters.
WRF 600 Flex roller for bar production and CFC 2012 cartoning machine will also be on display at the show.
The CFC 2012 machine deals with large-scale secondary packaging formats of the food industry with width up to 12 inches.
