Halewood International has ordered for a Makro Mak 3 labeler from Makro Labelling.
This follows its successful installations of three Makro Labellers at Halewood and also its subsidiary H & A Prestige Packaging, according to the company.
Makro Labelling UK managing director Richard Portman told packagingeurope.com that this latest order for a Mak 3 machine is a more sophisticated unit to prior one it sold to H & A in 2011.
"This three-station machine will apply body, back and neck labels to standard wine and spirit bottles as well as some book shape and oval flask type bottles. The Mak 3 is fitted with the Makro Patented optical orientation system as well as the Makro Patented Magic Star, which offers contract bottlers such as H & A maximum flexibility and a significant reduction in change parts, so making the Makro labellers the most cost effective and efficient labelling solution on the market today," added Portman.
The new Mak 3 labeller is slated to be installed in January 2013.
