Following research into the use of technology by children aged between three and 15, Ebuyer has constructed an extensive infographic to highlight its findings.
Among the statistics uncovered, it was found that 72 per cent of 12 to 15 year olds own three or more media devices and that in an average week, three to four year olds spend six and a half hours surfing the internet.
Furthermore, 51 percent of households with a three to 15 year old have a tablet computer compared to only seven per cent in 2011.
"2014 will see a surge of tech based children's toys entering the market in the form of tablets, smart wearable tech, enhanced play devices and augmented reality," read a statement from Ebuyer.
