Eaton's new low-micron element for industrial users offers finer filtration down to 25 microns, substantially lowers pressure differential and increases flow capacity. Available for the stainless steel, 2" - 8" Model 2596 automatic self-cleaning strainers, this rigid, cylindrical stainless steel element cleans easily, which leads to longer life compared to disposable media and reduces the disposal costs. The sintered mesh laminate removes the possibility of media migration into the processed product, thus avoiding risk of contamination and production downtime. "Our new low-micron element extends Eaton's position onto the finer filtration market and allows us to take advantage of this growing filtration trend," said Rick Jacobs, president of Eaton's Filtration Division. "We have set ambitious, yet practical sustainability goals with an eye toward developing products that reduce the environmental impact of our customer's processes."
