Mediterranea, a distributor of in vitro diagnostic equipments, has entered into a collaboration agreement with DiaSys.
Under the agreement, Mediterranea will market and sell DiaSys' Parasys Parasite Analyser and RS 2005 Urine Sediment Workstation, and Midi Parasep SF Faecal Parasite Concentrator tubes in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Mediterranea CEO Livio Orsini Gravina said the company understand that increased efficiency, decreased risk of sample cross contamination, and improved test sensitivity of the new In Vitro Diagnostic tools are integral to success on new markets.
"We are committed to ensuring that our IVD equipment has positive outcomes for all our clients, particularly small and medium sized labs with less trained staff," Orsini added.
DiaSys marketing executive Robert Reardon said, "Partnering with Mediterranea provides a wonderful opportunity to expand our business in Asia, particularly in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, and strengthen our global marketing network to ensure that we not only maintain our In Vitro Diagnostic market share but also reach out to new locations."
