Lab.gruppen and Lake have ended the year on a high after completing a run of Lake Level 1 training seminars across Germany.
The training programme is designed to introduce key aspects of Lab.gruppen and Lake technologies and develop user familiarity with the companies' industry-leading tour sound hardware and software platforms. The modular course is aimed at freelance engineers, tour/install system designers, theatre sound designers and tour system engineers.
The introductory 'Level 1' Certification course, held at various locations throughout Germany, has introduced participants to the core essentials of Lake & Lab.gruppen technology as well as gaining complete familiarization with the hardware as well as all the class-leading Lake features such as: Raised Cosine Equation, Iso-Float, Ideal Graphic EQ, Processing Modules and LimiterMax.
The final training seminar in Germany for 2012 took place at the headquarters of leading sound company RAIN AGE GmbH, and was conducted by Lake expert Bodo Felusch.
J?rgen Bachthaler, Lab.gruppen and Lake's national sales manager for touring products in Germany, commented, "With the help of some of the country's leading sound and rental companies, we have provided training to almost 50 individuals across Germany in the past few months. Lake Processing is already well established as the system processing environment of choice in the live sound arena and the recent product developments in the shape of the LM Series standalone processors and flagship PLM 20000Q platform have served to drive this uptake even further.
"These officially certified training courses will help to standardise and maintain a level of competency throughout the industry."
More training seminars are currently being scheduled for 2013, with destinations such as Berlin and Hamburg under consideration.
