Mikes Meats Is Recalling Prager Leg Ham From Its Stores and Other Butchers in The ACT

Australia-based Mikes Meats is recalling Prager Leg Ham from its stores and other butchers in the ACT due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination, according to the Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ).

The product being recalled Mikes Meats Prager Leg Ham was sold in varying weights between 600g and 900g in a shrink pack cryovac packet.

It bears date codes as 14 NOV 2012 and 14/11/12, and is a product of Australian marketplace.

Listeria monocytogenes may cause illness in pregnant women, their unborn and newborn babies, the elderly, and people with weak immune systems.
