Coca-Cola Bottling Company United has expanded its operations to Tuscaloosa area in the US state of Alabama, under a deal with Coca-Cola.
The company produces, markets and distributes Coca-Cola, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dr Pepper, Fanta, Dasani, Powerade, Minute Maid, vitaminwater and other beverages.
The expansion comes after Coca-Cola signed Letters of Intent to grant new, expanded territories to five US bottlers including Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, Swire Coca-Cola USA, Coca-Cola Bottling Company High Country and Corinth Coca-Cola Bottling Works in 2013.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Coca-Cola Bottling Company Tuscaloosa Sales Center manager Jack Sherman said: "The Tuscaloosa Coca-Cola Family is extremely excited to become a part of Coca-Cola United. We look forward to our local management team providing excellent customer service that will be unmatched going forward.

Coca-Cola United currently has operations across Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
