MobileHelp has started shipment of its new Cellular Base Station, which requires no landline phone and operates on AT&T’s nationwide cellular network.
This easy to install system works as an integrated system with MobileHelp's pendant and wrist button and mobile device, as well as the new myHalo auto fall detect pendant.
The new cellular base station is well equipped with over 30 hours of back-up battery, easy to understand voice prompts and an easy to use test button.
In addition the system has an easy to read LCD display that shows date, day of the week, current time, temperature and cellular signal strength.
The user's basic medical history and emergency contacts can be transmitted to an emergency call center operator with a single press of the button.
The new cellular base station has the flexibility of a wireless device and capability of a PERS system.
It is claimed to be the first medical alert system available with fall detection capability for users with no landline phone.
MobileHelp president and CEO Robert Flippo said, "MobileHelp's new Cellular Base Station is the latest in the company's mission to provide seniors and caregivers with innovative products that add freedom and peace of mind to their daily lives."
