The program includes purchasing and storage, visual aids for promoting sales, cultivation of contacts and successful setup of a multi-brand shop, among other things.
A mix of nationally and internationally renowned speakers will hold the seminars, including:
- Dr. Hanno Deyle, Senior Consultant Marketing & Sales at Roland Berger
Topic: How to survive in a multichannel world – Opportunities for retailers under constantly changing market situations
- Luca Lam, Managing Director at Blue Mount
Topic: Visual merchandising stimulates consumption
- Hans Overduin, Former Buying Director at Bever Zwerfsport
Topic: Building a successful multi-brand store
The numbers of registrations, which are already considerable three weeks before the start of the retail camp, demonstrate how important such further training measures are and the amount of interest that they generate. The ISPO Academy Program in Shanghai is being supported by the EOG (European Outdoor Group) as official international outdoor partner. With this cooperation, ISPO and EOG are extending their partnership beyond the winter.
More events are planned in 2013 in addition to the ISPO Academy in Shanghai. Besides ISPO BIKE, numerous international partner events will also host the ISPO Academy. The next training course and the first in Spain at the same time will take place in Barcelona on May 27. Round about 150 registrations have already been received for it.
