Mini has confirmed the third-generation Mini Cooper will make its world premiere on November 18, just days before its public unveiling at sequential events in Tokyo and Los Angeles.
Hosted at Mini’s Oxford plant in England – which recently celebrated 100 years of production and will continue to produce the new model – the premiere of the next-gen Mini hatch will mark 107 years since the creator of the original 1959 Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born.
A party in London will directly follow the initial UK reveal before the car – spied in July – makes its November 20 debut at the Tokyo motor show hours before the covers come off at the Los Angeles motor show.
