Rusmet, the Russian metals market research company, will stage its ninth international forum entitled ‘Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals’ on February 20-21 in the country’s capital Moscow.
Organisers expect to welcome: overseas scrap suppliers; scrap procurement/processing companies; consumers from metallurgical plants and mini-mills in Russia and elsewhere; scrap importers; scrap processing and handling equipment manufacturers; as well as traders, shipping and logistics firms, analysts, financiers, representatives of industrial associations, and other officials. Previous events have been attended by more than 400 delegates from over 30 countries.
Topics to be addressed at the congress will include: the ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals markets in Russia and worldwide; regional and country market reports covering, among others, Russia, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, South East Asia, China, India, the EU, Turkey, the Middle East, Africa and the USA; industry analysis and forecasts from independent experts; vehicle recycling developments in Russia; scrap procurement issues; and recycling business efficiency.
In addition, there will be a presentation from Ruslom.com, Russia’s first self-regulated organisation for scrap processing companies. There will also be the option of a company visit.
