Arklu has announced a new agreement that will see Lottie dolls join retailers across Canada.
Îlot 307, located in Quebec, distributes educational games and toys throughout Canada and the US, and is now the exclusive distributor of Lottie dolls in the region.
It will begin shipping the multi-award winning dolls from Arklu from June 2013.
Lottie is a new fashion doll for girls aged three to nine, with dimensions devised by leading British scientists to reflect the average proportions of a nine-year-old. It aims not to conform to gender stereotypes, but to help promote positive body image in young girls.
"The Canadian market has really taken to Lottie since she launched before Christmas, with TV news coverage, national press and mommybloggers really getting behind what Lottie is all about which is letting girls be girls," said Ian Harkin, Arklu's managing director.
