China-based Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding has successfully deployed the latest version of Manhattan Associates' Warehouse Management solution (WMS) at a new warehouse facility in Shanghai, China.
This latest project success will enable the pharmaceutical giant to continue growing in the years ahead as well as help it get closer to its customers.
The highly scalable nature of Manhattan's WMS means Shanghai Pharma is able to handle extremely high throughput within its new DC, ensuring a continuous, smooth operation during peak periods.
The solution has also reduced operating costs within the DC and allowed Shanghai Pharma to improve customer service through improved service levels.
The scalable nature of the Manhattan solution helps Shanghai Pharma comfortably handle its order processing peaks each week, when throughput volumes can surge by 200-300%.

Today, Shanghai Pharma is processing a daily fulfilment volume of up to 35,000 cases per day.
