Korea's Dealer Inventory of Steel Flat Products Has Fallen for Consecutive Four Months

Korea’s dealer inventory of steel flat products has fallen for consecutive four months.

According to statistics released by the Korea Iron & Steel Association (KOSA), the dealer inventory of steel flat products totaled 1.179 million tons at the end of December, down by 0.8% from a month ago and decreasing by 0.5% year on year.

Among them, 260,000 tons were hot rolled steel product, up by 0.4%; 110,000 tons were medium heavy plates, rising by 0.9%; 170,000 tons were pickled plates, decreasing by 2.3%; 226,000 tons were cold rolled steel products, falling by 1.3% and 2787,000 tons were galvanized steel sheets, declining by 1.4%, all compared to those in a month ago.
