DeltaTRAK has launched a certified reusable data logger with glycol bottle, the FlashLink USB Data Logger with Glycol Bottle, compatible with CDC guidelines.
Designed for monitoring temperatures of vaccines inside refrigerators or freezers, FlashLink USB Data Logger with Glycol Bottle features LCD display.
The calibrated logger can be customized for different logging intervals, high and low alarms and it displays the remaining battery power on the LCD.
The FlashLink Reusable USB logger features a detachable external temperature sensor in a sealed 5ml glycol bottle for precise reading of liquid temperatures.
Using the USB connection and DeltaTRAK's FlashPDF Program Manager software, temperature data is downloaded from the logger that is compatible with FDA, CDC and WHO guidelines.
DeltaTRAK president and CEO Frederick Wu said improper storage and handling of vaccines result in the loss of millions of dollars each year.
"The FlashLink USB logger is an ideal solution for monitoring vaccines stored in refrigerators and freezers and can help improve quality and reduce product loss,"Wu added.
"It is easy to use and meets the requirements and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention)."
