The Jumping Sumo family welcomes new additions while the Mechanical Firefly joins the Rolling Spider line-up.
CES 2015 is officially open and Parrot is not wasting a minute to reveal its new collection of Parrot MiniDrones.
Slated for release later this year, the new range sees the Jumping Sumo family welcome a new Rover, equipped with headlights and a cross-country model featuring a backbone to help it “overcome any obstacle.”
Meanwhile, the Rolling Spider family also welcomes a MiniDrone newcomer: the Mechanical Firefly. A flying MiniDrone, the Mechanical Firefly comes equipped with headlights, ‘opening up new areas of exploration,’
Completing the new line-up of MiniDrones this year, Parrot has unveiled its SenseFly eXcom (pictured), an autonomous quadcopter featuring close mapping applications.
The eXcom is able to capture high-definition 270-degree videos, high-res still images as well as thermal data.
Held in Las Vegas, CES is one of the largest consumer electronics and consumer technology trade shows in the world and is home to some of the most advanced gadgets of 2015.
Kicking off today, the show will run until January 9th.
