JX Nippon Oil and Energy Has Reduced The Capacity Rates at Its PX Plant Located in Kashima

Japanese paraxylene (PX) producer – JX Nippon Oil and Energy has reduced the capacity rates at its PX plant located in Kashima.

"Currently both the PX lines are operating at 70 percent capacity, mainly due to poor feedstock supply and also due to technical problems", a JX Nippon official told fibre2fashion.

One line has a PX capacity of 100,000 tons per annum, while the other line has a production capacity of 420,000 tons per annum.
