H&M Group's Sales Including Vat Increased by 15% in Q1 2014 to 28 Feb,2105

Sweden-based H&M Group’s sales including VAT increased by 15 per cent in local currencies in the first quarter, i.e. 1 December, 2014 to 28 February, 2015, compared to the corresponding quarter last year.

H&M Group's Sales Increase 15% in Q1 FY15

Sales in the first quarter converted into SEK increased by 25 per cent and amounted to SEK 46,791 million including VAT, as against SEK 37,524 million in the corresponding quarter of previous fiscal.

Sales excluding VAT amounted to SEK 40,276 million during the quarter, compared to SEK 32,143 million in the same quarter last year.

The total store count stood at 3,551 as on 28 February, 2015 versus 3,192 on 28 February, 2014.

In addition to H&M, the H&M Group includes the brands COS, Monki, Weekday, Cheap Monday, & Other Stories as well as H&M Home.

In 2014, H&M Group’s sales including VAT amounted to more than SEK 176,6 billion and the number of employees was more than 132,000.
