The production version of the Mazzanti Evantra V8 has debuted at Top Marques Monaco 2013.
The flagship Evantra boasts Lamborghini-beating numbers, with its naturally aspirated 7.0-litre V8 producing 523kW of power at 6600rpm and 848Nm at 4500rpm.
With either a six-speed manual or sequential transmission sending power to the rear wheels, the 1300kg Mazzanti Evantra V8 accelerates from 0-100km/h in 3.2 seconds before powering on beyond 350km/h.
The Italian manufacturer will produce five Evantra V8s per year in a limited series run.
The supercar’s steel chassis is reinforced by a new chrome-molibden rollcage, while customers can select between carbonfibre and aluminium for the two-door coupe’s lightweight body.
The Evantra V8 contacts the tarmac with high-performance Continental tyres (255/30 front and 305/25 rear), which wrap around 20-inch OZ alloy wheels. Stopping power comes from 380mm front discs with six-piston calipers and 360mm rears with four-piston calipers.
Blue and white aniline leather embraces the sports seats, doors and dashboard, while race-inspired features include a data acquisition system, steering wheel with digital display and paddleshifters, and an engine/gearbox-mapping dial allowing the driver to select between Strada (street) and Corsa (race) modes.
The Evantra V8 becomes the flagship model in Mazzanti’s portfolio, topping the naturally aspirated 300kW 3.5-litre six-cylinder entry-level model and the twin-turbocharged 450kW version, both of which launched in December 2011.
