Spencerfield Spirit Company has launched of their new whiskey, an intricate blended malt - The Feathery.
This crafted whiskey will be available in John Lewis and other major independent UK retailers from February 2014.
This premium malt whiskey has been entirely matured in first class sherry wood, has been bottled in its most natural form at 40%.
The initial impression are dry, nutty sherry notes, a touch of creamy vanilla and a hint of ginger, with an overall finish that can only be described as long satisfying and well rounded.
Alex Nicol, managing director at Spencerfield Spirit, worked closely with Stranger and Stranger Design Agency to create the period packaging.
Alex commented: "The Feathery is the first expression of an ancient artisanal range we are developing celebrating original Scottish craftsmanship. The whisky is like the original golf ball - lovingly handcrafted."
