Vivid Imaginations is to donate all postal payments for its rare Snozzle Wobbleson Moshi Monster figure to Comic Relief.
As a follow up to the forthcoming Snozzle Saturday swap day - which was set up by Vivid after a production scheduling error meant that the figure missed the first shipment in mid-January and fans had been fruitlessly searching - the firm has made a quantity of Snozzle figures available for fans to buy for £1. This is via a dedicated customer service helpline.
The company plans to donate all funds generated through the sale of the figures to Comic Relief.
Moshi fans will be informed of the plan via Mind Candy social media channels and the firm's blog this week.
"We wanted a means by which we could 'give back' in some way to both Moshi fans and the wider general public following recent issues we have had with supplying Snozzle," said Neil Bandtock, MD at Vivid Toy Group. "We are conscious that not all people can get to an Entertainer store on March 16th for the Snozzle Saturday swap day and, therefore, wanted to make a quantity of Snozzles available for them to purchase via our consumer services team following the swap event.
