The three North American trade fairs, Texworld USA, International Apparel Sourcing Show and Home Textiles Sourcing Expo, have made it to the just-released Trade Show Executive (TSE) magazine’s Fastest 50 Class of 2014 list.
The three events, which were held in the same New York City location in July, 2014, have been selected due to their 11 per cent increase in combined attendance.
The fairs, which provide sourcing options for businesses dealing in apparel fabrics, finished clothing and home textiles, welcomed a total number of 5,895 verified visitors compared to 5,292 in the July, 2013 edition.
Dennis Smith, president of the tri-events’ organizer-Messe Frankfurt North America, said in a press statement, “Making the Fastest 50 list is a sign of success and underlines our commitment to the industries that we serve. Also, this accomplishment is a great motivator to our team in Atlanta and around the world that sells and organizes our textile events”.
TSE magazine will present the award during the Awards and Summit celebration, due to be held from May 19 to 21, 2015 at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, Illinois. The awardees will be honoured on criteria based on increase in sold net square feet of exhibit space, increase in total number of exhibiting companies and increased total attendance.
The three day event will not only be an awards presentation ceremony, but will also serve as a common platform for industry leaders to meet and exchange ideas and best practices amidst keynote speakers, power panels and case studies.
The 19th instalment of Texworld USA, which is attended by apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, fashion labels, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals, will take place from July 21 to 23, 2015 at the Javits Convention Center, NYC.
The event will be co-located with the sixth editions of International Apparel Sourcing Show and Home Textiles Sourcing Expo.
