Shandong Province-based Chinese steel producer Rizhao Iron and Steel Group has announced that in April it won a tender to supply flange beam for the Chongqing-Wanzhou Railway (Yuwan Railway), a part of Zhengzhou-Chongqing Railway.
The Yuwan Railway is an intercity high-speed railway with a total length of 248 km. Construction on the railway started in 2012 and is expected to last four years. Rizhao Steel will supply a total of 6,000 mt of flange beam for the project.
