Wells Fargo Insurance is growing its International Specialty Group by forming three new teams exclusively devoted to serving the insurance and risk management requirements of the US multinational companies.
Based in Atlanta, New York City, and San Francisco, the International Specialty Group will oversee the design, placement, and implementation of compliant risk and benefit programs for businesses operating globally.
The group, which aims to better meet the global needs of its customers, will also manage the insurer's existing global network of in-country brokers from over 130 nations, including the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific.
Wells Fargo Insurance international specialty group head and national practices and special risk co-head Ken Fraser said the new set up addresses the demand for program management, oversight, accountability, and consistent excellent services.
The new teams of the international specialty group will offer risk management, commercial insurance, and employee benefits services to multinational customers across the country.
Shalini Ati, who has been working as vice president for Wells Fargo Insurance's International Practice team serving multinational customers in the Northwest, has been appointed to lead the San Francisco based team.
John Scales, who recently joined Wells Fargo from ACE Group, will be responsible to manage the Atlanta-based team.
Shawn Burnsworth, who was most recently an international practice leader for the Wells Fargo Global Broker Network, will oversee the New York City team.
Managing 127 offices in 37 states across the US, Wells Fargo Insurance offers insurance services to retail consumers, high net worth individuals, small businesses, as well as middle market and large corporate customers.
