The deadline for the 2014 Lighting Design Awards has been extended to Friday 13 September. That means companies have just over two weeks left to be in with a chance of winning an award at next year's event.

Ben Cronin, editor of Lighting, warned companies not to be caught out because the deadline is different from previous years: "We've brought the deadline for the Awards forward this year so any company thinking of entering needs to be aware that 13 September is the final cut off date."
