China's Export Quantity of Steel Products November Was 5,130 Thousand Tonnes up 6.0%

According to information obtained by a source, China's export quantity of steel products (steel ingots and semi finished products excluded) in November was 5,130 thousand tonnes up 6.0% from the previous month and up 34.3% from the same month last year. It was the 4th time this year that its steel export quantity became the level of 5 million tonnes. Its cumulative export quantity during January through November was 50,880 thousand tonnes, up 12.7% from the same period last year.

As per the separated article, China's steel production per day in November increased from the previous month. The demand season is coming soon, nevertheless, its remains the same being overproduction. Excess is to be exported. The Asian steel market is showing a sign of bottoming out and rebound at long last but price rise will be subtle despite of price increase of various steel products by the Chinese mills if they increase export again. Meantime, export of ingots and semi-finished products was nil in November as well.

While, its import quantity of steel products (ingots and semi-finished products excluded) in November was 1,060 thousand tonnes, up 2.9% from the previous month, and down 11.7% from the same month last year. Its cumulative import quantity during January through November was 12,610 thousand tonnes down 12.3% from the same period last year. Import quantity of ingots and semi-finished products in November was 40 thousand tonnes up by 2 times from both the previous month. Its cumulative quantity during January through November was 330 thousand tonnes, down 44.9% from the same period last year.
