Lite-On Technology expects CCMs (compact camera modules) mainly used in smartphones, LED devices and LED lighting products as well as SSDs to be the main sources of revenues growth for the second half of 2014, according to CEO Warren Chen.
Lite-On has focused on six main product lines, CCMs for hand-held devices, LED devices and lighting products, SSDs, automotive electronics, server power supplies and networking equipment, games consoles in 2014, Chen said. Revenues from the six product lines increase 40% on year in the first quarter and accounted for nearly 50% of consolidated revenues, Chen indicated.
Lite-On's shareholders have approved the distribution of NT$2.76 (US$0.092) per share, NT$2.71 in cash and NT$0.05 in stock, for 2013.
