Reportedly, Vallourec, the France-based steel pipe and tube produce said that it has inked an agreement to buy the assets in Lupatech’s tubular services Rio das Ostras Unit, which is an oil & gas services company in Rio de Janeiro. The transaction is expected to reach around €21 million in cash. Vallourec expected that this acquisition will help to expand its range of services now offered by the group in Brazil and broaden its services including inspection, maintenance, and tube coating.
