A health software organization Orion Health has signed a license agreement with Novari Health to incorporate its Rhapsody Integration Engine into Novari's Access to Care solution, which integrates specialist or surgical offices with hospital IT systems to allow eBooking and the automated reporting of wait times.
Novari's Access to Care system is the surgical eBooking, automated provincial wait times reporting, wait list management, pre-op standardization and business intelligence system of its kind.
Rhapsody Integration solution exceeded Novari's requirements from a reliability, scalability, drag and drop message building, monitoring, alerts, ease of use, and short learning curve perspective.
Novari Health vice president John Sinclair said, "Deployed in three provinces, our Novari Access to Care solution easily interfaces with a variety of other IT systems including provincial wait list registries, master patient indexes, surgical information, scheduling and EMR and EHR systems to name a few."
According to the companies, using their technologies will provide healthcare practitioners with advanced tools that improve the quality of care for the patients.
Orion Health senior vice president Gary Folker said that several major healthcare software vendors use Rhapsody to provide integration between their products and other healthcare systems and the company is pleased that Novari has chosen the solution.
"When embedded into their product offerings, the solution offers flexible messaging capabilities without the need to depend on the facility staff or technology to successfully operate," Folker added.
For OEM partners, Rhapsody allows to provide customer-specific changes without development, add flexible interfaces to their products, take control of delivery timelines, and add standards support without development.
