Epistar, a Taiwan-based maker of LED chips, will distribute a cash dividend per share of NT$1.1 for its 2011 operation, 96.43% in excess of the corresponding net earnings per share of NT$0.56, according to the company. The cash dividend per share consists of NT$0.528 from 2011 net profit and NT$0.572 from accumulated capital surplus, Epistar indicated. Epistar recorded revenues of NT$17.712 billion (US$58.6 million), gross margin of 19.0%, net operating profit of NT$1.539 billion, net profit of NT$480 million and net EPS of NT$0.56 for 2011 operation.
