GlassRenu, Pacheco, Calif., launched a one-day Certified Technician Training program specifically designed for GlassRenu glass restoration technicians, according to a Jan. 26 release. The GlassRenu system removes scratches, acid, graffiti and manufacturing debris from all types of glass. Two years in the making, the one-day, eight-hour certification program is offered only at GlassRenu headquarters in Pacheco.
Available for $495 per person, the training program takes users from novice to certified technician in one, eight-hour day. The training offers tips, short cuts and assists the user in developing proficiencies in restoring even the most difficult damage. Additionally, the certification training program includes comprehensive training on GlassRenu's job estimation application for the iPhone, a free APP available through the iTunes store, ready for download onto compatible iPhones and iPads.
"While we have offered training in the past, this new course is more in-depth," said Cody Thomas, COO, GlassRenu, in the release. "We not only cover the methodology of how to utilize the glass restoration system, we also offer complete integration of the service into the user's business development marketing, job estimating and customer support."
Upon completion of the GlassRenu Certified Technician Training Program, graduates receive a comprehensive manual, certificate for framing, and license to use GlassRenu Certified Technician graphics on their Web site and in marketing materials.
"GlassRenu has set the standard in scratch removal and glass restoration with its exclusive dry grinding and polishing process," Thomas said in the release. "Our intent is to further raise the bar, identifying those users who have completed our comprehensive training program as certified technicians.
