Around 25 garment machinery and technology manufacturing firms showcased their latest products at the recently concluded business and technology fair for garment industry, the Indonesia Apparel Production Expo (IAPE) 2014, held at the Diamond Solo Convention Center in the Indonesian city of Surakarta (also known in short as Solo).
The three-day fair, organized by PRINTEX magazine (an Indonesian apparel decoration magazine) with the support of event organization firm More Media Creator, was held with the objective of updating apparel manufacturers in the country with latest technology and equipments available for garment making.
Held under the theme—Creativity and Business Optimization Clothing Indonesia, the fair was attended by more than 3,000 visitors who got the opportunity to explore the newest technologies and machineries for apparel sector.
Parallel to the event, several seminars and workshops were also organized where Indonesian apparel manufacturers got the chance to learn about various prospects of increasing production of clothing by using latest technologies.
Exhibitors at the event presented various products including industrial fabrics, screen printing technologies, digital printing technologies, sewing machines, embroidery machines and more.
In addition to Solo, the IAPE 2014 expo would also be held in other major cities of Indonesia such as Yogyakarta, Palembang, Surabaya and Bandung, during the month of April 2014.
