AEC has won a contract to supply 84,000 lanterns for Milan’s new street lighting system.
The company won the project through a tender process by A2A, a utility company that manages Milan’s electricity supply. The installation is expected to be completed by 2015.
The light comes in three different sizes, including post top and suspended versions.
Alessandro Cini, AEC chief executive said: “This project represents the talent and hard work of AEC, the entire team have been instrumental in delivering this success to our business. We are proud to offer Milan a made-in-Italy, energy saving LED solution.”
