2016 Chevrolet Camaro is expected to be smaller than the current Camaro and is likely to be built on GM's Cadillac ATS compact-car chassis.
The car which is set to be launched in 2015, might have turbocharged four-cylinder engine which is similar to the one that Ford Mustang has.
GM's Cadillac ATS presently offers a turbo four engine variant and the same is expected to be used by General Motors in the upcoming Camaro.
According to reports, that Chevy will not unveil the car in North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January, and it still have not decided when the car will make its debut.
USA Today cited that Ford developed the 2015 Mustang to target buyers outside the US and with the new variant of Camaro GM might also be aiming to get hold of the overseas market.
