Exeter-based toy firm Kandy Toys is reporting ‘record sales’ in its latest results thanks to improved trading and the recent period of warm weather.

In its latest results, covering the year to November 30th, 2014 the firm has seen turnover grow from £15.2 million to £17.1 million, while pre-tax profits have surged to £7.12 million from £2.03 million the year before.
Managing director, David Kirkby is pleased with the firm’s positive start to a year he still foresees as ‘challenging’ and is hopeful that with the promise of a hot summer on the horizon, another set of good results will follow.
“We are extremely pleased with the results of the financial year which can be attributed to a great team of staff, an expanding customer base in both the UK and overseas along with an excellent range of competitively priced products,” he said.
