The boss of Nigerian cement company Dangote Cement has revealed plans to open a plant in Iraq.Aliko Dangote,who is Nigeria s richest man,told the Financial Times that he is planning to open cement plants in Iraq and in Myanmar next year.He also plans to open other plants in Indonesia,Brazil and China.Dangote told the newspaper that he has set a target for the company of producing 100m tonnes within the next five years.Only 40m of this would come from existing operations in Africa.Dangote Cement was listed on Nigeria s main stock exchange last year and is reported to be planning a listing in London later this year.The company currently has a market cap of $13bn.
