Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, has unveiled its four-door Subaru WRX STI spec C sedan, which further enhances its WRX STI Series line of vehicles.
The company had launched the spec C version in the 5-door model in December 2010 and now it has also equipped both variants with the new 'A-Line type S Package'.
According to the carmaker, the new four-door variant is powered by a 2.5litre Horizontally-Opposed Boxer turbo engine mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission.
The features of new sedan include 17-inch tires, head restraint and a three-point seat belt have been added for the rear centre seat, while optional features include auto air conditioner brembo 17-inch front opposed 4 pot and rear opposed 2 pot ventilated disc brakes.
According to the carmaker, the new enhanced WRX STI Series models are currently on sale in Japan.
