UK-based crisp brand Burts Chips has launched Guinness flavored crisps.
The product features a combination of Irish stout with Burts' thick cut hand-cooked potato chips with a bitter sweet flavor, reported Food and Drink Innovation Network.
Flavor specialists from Guinness teamed up with the Burts Chips staff at their factory in Roborough Devon for six months to create the taste and texture of the crisps.
According to a spokesperson from Guinness was quoted by the website as saying that the success of Guinness branded peanuts and cashews encouraged them for their second launch into the UK snack market with the Burts Chips.
