Australian bottler and distributor of Coca-Cola soft drinks, Coca-Cola Amatil has recalled five drinks suspecting glass fragments in the bottles.
The affected products are 330ml clear glass bottles of Schweppes lemonade, tonic water, soda, dry ginger ale, and soda lemonade twist.
The recall has been conducted due to a fault in a small number of bottles, which may have chipped finishes and glass fragments.
Coca-Cola Amatil sold the affected products individually or in packs of four from supermarkets, cafes, licensed premises and other retail outlets throughout New Zealand.
Consumers who purchased any of the affected products were asked to check the best-before date on the neck of the bottle and avoid drinking those with dates between 10 and 30 January 2014.
