Global plastic closures manufacturer Bericap has extended its ‘Galileo’ range that uses patented technology for its molded hinge products, with the addition of a new long skirt closure, LSK EV 29/44 Galileo 11.
The new Galileo closure has been designed for application with Verplast 29/21 glass and PET bottles for the packaging of syrups, sauces and dressings as well as edible oil.
According to Bericap, the dispensing closure design that maintains the traditional appearance for products is easy to open and close and can be printed on a large surface.
The Galileo range is manufactured from PE with a tamper-evident, hinged over-cap made from transparent PP that facilitates single-handed pouring. The closure includes two independent tamper-evidence seals.
Initially, the consumer has to break the over-cap seal before being able to remove the pull-up ring, which breaks the second seal. The transparent over-cap allows to see the membrane integrity, which acts as a secondary tamper-evident feature.
