Processing and packaging equipment supplier MG America will launch its new Kartos I/100 Cartoner in the North American market post its showcase at Pack Expo conference.
The cartoner offers a wide format range and is specifically designed for pharmaceutical, personal care and cosmetic applications. The machine also has a maximum production output of about 100 cartons per minute.
This new technology includes an ergonomic balcony design, a compact footprint and fast and easy changeover that can be performed without tools. It also features additional benefits like positive carton forming and belt transmission.
With components from the premium Allen-Bradley as its part, the machine offers a programmable logic controller (PLC) along with HMI.
Speaking about the new equipment, MG America president Fabio Trippodo said: "The Kartos 1/100 Cartoner is the latest in a lengthy list of MG2 packaging machines built to be versatile, efficient and operator-friendly.
"It affords levels of flexibility and ease of use that are increasingly attractive in an industry where demands on individual machines continue to grow."
The machine also offers feeding systems for a wide variety of packaging formats like those for blisters, sachets, suppositories, tubes, bottles, trays, vials, jars, and flow-packs, among others.
