US based sustainable packaging solutions provider Ball Corporation has partnered with Faultless Starch/Bon Ami to launch two-piece tinplate aerosol can in the US market.
The team will offer the Faultless Starch/Bon Ami's products in the new G3-HD two-piece tinplate can to the US customers.
Faultless Starch/Bon Ami Company president William Wood said: "Faultless Starch is excited to partner with Ball on their new innovative two-piece aerosol can technology.
"Faultless has a history of supporting new packaging technologies for the market. We congratulate Ball on creating a more sustainable, graphics-forward packaging solution with G3-HD."
The infinitely recyclable G3-HD can features enhanced superior high definition, eight-color in-line graphics capability.
Additionally, the high speed, coil-to-can process utilized by G3-HD accommodates sidewall thinning that could allow customers and products to benefit from lightweighting their can.
Ball food and aerosol packaging COO Jim Peterson said: "The creation of the G3-HD can is Ball's single largest investment in aerosol innovation to date.
"With the recent introduction of the G3-HD can, as well as the world's most diverse aerosol container portfolio, Ball continues to meet the needs of its growing customers."
The lightweight steel aerosol container, which was introduced by Ball in 2015, is latest addition to its aerosol can portfolio. It is manufactured in the company's Chestnut Hill, Tennessee facility.
Ball provides sustainable packaging solutions for beverage, food and household products customers as well as aerospace and other technologies and services for the US government.
