British luxury car manufacturer Jaguar is planning to unveil the new F-TYPE Prototype sports car at Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
The new prototype version will be powered by a 3.0litre V6 supercharged engine, which will produce a total output of 375BHP and a torque of 332 lb-ft.
According to the carmaker, the production version of the F-TYPE two-seater convertible will be powered by 5.0litre V8 engine, which is expected to generate 503hp output and 542 lb-ft of torque.
Jaguar said that the new convertible, currently undergoing development, will be on sale by mid-2013 will be launched as a coupe version as well as a hardtop R variant by 2014.
