The food products which have received Non-GMO Project Verification include cookies,chocolate,granola,seed and fruit mixes,chewy bars,chips,and cereal products.
Enjoy Life chief sales&marketing officer Joel Warady said the company has been with the Non-GMO Project to ensure the sustained availability of non-GMO food products.
GMOs(genetically modified organisms)are plants or animals created through the gene splicing techniques of biotechnology.According to the company,it is estimated that GMOs are currently present in more than 80%of packaged products in the average US or Canadian supermarket.
The Non-GMO Project is a non-profit organization,which seeks to preserve and build sources of non-GMO products,educating consumers,and providing verified non-GMO choices.
