Bokashicycle has launched a new machine that can be used to shred,rip,and pulverize food waste.
Bokashicycle noted that food waste recycling can lead to significant savings for restaurants,casinos,country clubs,schools,farmers,and businesses that generate a large amount of food waste and need to lower waste disposal expenses.
The new machine works by compacting the food and sending the food waste into a 55-gallon barrel container.Each 55-gallon barrel holds approximately 500 pounds of food waste.
Bokashicycle founder Lawrence Green said the food waste pulverizer has been designed to make waste disposal easy and cost effective,and has been developed with safety in mind.
Green recommended users to add the Bokashicycle culture mix to the compost before it goes into the machine.This way food waste can also be fermented and sent to the farm for soil restoration.
